Description: As most know the Eaton “e-locker” has been discontinued for many years now. Kodiak Truck has developed a fully mechanical locking front differential, the Chevy GMC 9.25 Locking Front Differential. This differential has been tested in street trucks to 1400HP 3.0 pulling trucks. The differential will free the wheel when unlocked in 2wd. Once selected into 4wd this unit will fully lock.
**CUSTOMERS WITH LIFT KITS please determine if you have the ear cut off your front differential. If you do please select accordingly on which one you need.**

I bought this locking diff from Mark at Kodiak. His skills and reputation is reknowned across the US.
I had it in my hands within 1 week of paying for it. We installed it. We tested it in a real life working situation. If the front drive shaft is forced to turn from your transfer case, the diff locks in and both front tires turn at the same speed, no exceptions, all the time. Even in reverse. When you disengage the front drive shaft, then the diff will unlock and let the front free wheel, open diff.
